Managing Breakthrough Innovation:
The Good, The Bad And The Ugly

Innovation is difficult to manage, but radical, breakthrough innovation is extremely difficult, especially in large, established firms that thrive on process excellence and operational execution. Radical innovations, which create new markets and enable whole new benefits, are typically high-risk, high-uncertainty journeys for an innovator, but they are critical for any organization's long-term health and renewal. Recent research has uncovered a number of challenges that radical innovation projects confront.

In this online seminar, we will discuss the 7 fundamental challenges that RI project managers experience and describe effective management practices that firms can put in place to help enable this very necessary form of innovation.

Presented by
