"Go Forth and Multiply"
Many would-be innovators first try to improve their products or services by merely adding "more of the same" to existing features or functions. While this strategy can result in competitive differences, such differences are often temporary and unremarkable. To establish more meaningful differentiation-often before customers have expressed a need-we need to explore how we can learn to "manipulate" our existing products or services. As an example of such manipulation, session participants will be exposed to the Systematic Inventive Thinking tool of "multiplication." Real life examples will be used to underscore instruction and will help participants when they later apply the tool to one of their own existing products or services.

The "X" Great Innovation Myths
The fact that there are a number of Innovation myths can be seen as a myth in itself. A myth can be defined as an attempt to explain mysteries, supernatural events, and cultural traditions. But there is nothing more mystical about innovation than about any other activity, which in turn means, among other things, that one can study it, organize the existing knowledge about it and train people to excel in it.
In this session we will discuss a number of principles and tools which will allow us to clear the mystical fog around some of the common myths about the - 'creative person' who thinks 'out of the box' and comes up with 'killer ideas' by merely 'listening closer to what the customer wants', giving him 'more' and 'deferring judgment' in the process.

A Versatile Tool
Participants will learn and apply an innovation tool, in order to assimilate it into their daily thought processes. This tool, Task Unification, will offer them a new way of observing their surroundings, identifying resources and making the most of them. Using examples and hands-on application, participants will learn how this tool can be used for new product development, marketing communications and problem solving. Following this session, it may be easier to view challenges as opportunities.

Pooh of Innovation
What is an innovation guru, and how do you know which one is the right one for your company? In this session, participants will explore the vast landscape of innovation and creativity methods, and how companies such as Johnson & Johnson and GE sort out and decide which ones to use when. A framework will be presented on how to categorize and think about innovation methods. Participants will leave with a set of actionable skills on how to find, engage, qualify, and hire the perfect innovation guru for stimulating growth in their company.

VIP Session - for Very Inventive People
This session is limited to a small number of people in order to allow intense interaction. The assumptions underlying this session are:
- Whether you see yourself as creative or not - there is always the possibility of enhancing your capabilities;
- However creative one is, there are always personal blind spots that are worth discovering;
- There is much to learn from others who deal with the same kinds of issues that one deals with;
- It is not always easy to explain to others how one's mind functions, and to communicate effectively about ideas.
Benefits? If you agree with the assumptions above, and are prepared to work hard and share openly, we will:
- Share a few useful tools to think about your creativity and others';
- Supply several challenging problems to ponder;
- Facilitate some intense discussions;
- Suggest action items;
- Listen

Exaggerate and come up with new ideas
Encounter two of the Systematic Inventive Thinking tools for advertising, but learn how they can be utilized for developing new products. "Extreme Consequence" and "Absurd Alternative" were developed, and initially used, only in the context of marketing communications. But following some successful applications in recent years, the tools will be used in order to generate new products and ideas for new promises. During the session participants will be using examples and interactive exercises to help them better understand the tools so they can later apply them on their own.
